The preview for the upcoming Fall 2010 Knitscene is up -- you can check out my new pattern, Thalweg Socks! I really had fun designing and knitting these. As you know, I'm a big fan of Sundara Yarn, so I was really excited to be able to use her Sock base, in the beautiful "Glacier" colorway, to knit the sample for Knitscene.
According to the Knitscene site, this issue should be available July 20. I can't wait to take a closer look at the Lapis Yoke, the Dorflinger Tee, and the Balsam Jacket...I just found out the other week that I got hired back to teach at SFSU this fall, so I won't exactly have time to knit them all -- but a girl can dream, right?

That color is gorgeous! And your sock design is beautiful! Congrats!
Thanks for letting us know that the issue won't available yet. I have been sending my husband to the bookstore every day for this past week.

They are stunning. So sad I don't get Knitscene in South Africa. I think I'm going to have to work out a swap with an American based friend.

I've seen a lot of blogs with knitting but I've never seen socks like that. So far, these are the best I've seen. Thought I'd let you know. It's in the ribbing you did there. You're really talented. It's very fine work.
