I've had bills food,
a cookbook by Sydney chef Bill Granger, sitting on my shelf for a few
months -- and when my sister-in-law, who gave me the book, mentioned
her success with this recipe, I knew it was time to crack it open.
This
banana chocolate chip bread is deliciously banana-ey -- it's nice and
moist, and the bread itself is not too sweet. I think next time I will
skip the chocolate chips. It's just this weird thing I have -- I even
like chocolate chip cookies better sans chocolate chips. Weird, I know.
Anyway, this cookbook is gorgeous, and my SIL Kim and our friend Joey,
who discovered it when she moved to Sydney, both have enjoyed
everything they've made from it -- so I know I'm going to be making
some of Bill's food again soon.
That looks really yummy, I've always been a fan of banana bread so I think I may have to make this soon!
